Hey there! Food lovers, I’m Mary, the blogger behind New in the Kitchen Recipes. My cooking and baking adventures started when I was just a little munchkin, helping my mum whip up magic in the kitchen (and probably making a mess, too!)

I grew up in the Philippines, where home-cooked food are as common as flip-flops in summer. I quickly learned that no holiday is truly complete without a feast that could feed a small army! starters, mains, desserts, you name it! One of my favorite dishes is chicken adobo, it’s so famous it even got a mention by the Black Eye Peas band – ‘Bebot’ ‘Bebot’ I often have this song playing in the background when I’m cooking in the Kitchen.

I made the leap to London in 2019, it was a fascinating time before lock down, I fell in love with the place and met some heartwarming people. I was dazzled by all the international dishes around me, Italian, Chinese and Indian are some of my favorites, not to mention baking smooth delicious treats at home.
